Abraham

ABRAHAM and the variations ABRAM, ABE and BRAM are from the Hebrew and mean exalted father; father of multitudes. The Biblical Abraham was the founder of the Hebrew nation. In Hawaiian KAMEHA IKANA means multitude of descendants, KAMEHA'I (wondrous) and KANA (many). The goddess Haumea was sometimes called by this name because she is said to have had numerous children by one husband, then to have returned later as a young woman and again had numerous more children; she did this for many generations producing a multitude of descendants.
