ARTHUR, ART
This name has several meanings from several different languages; Celtic, strong as a rock, noble, Welsh, bear-hero; and Norse, Thor's eagle. King Arthur was the legendary King of England who ruled Camelot and established the Knights of the Round Table. For the Hawaiian we have chosen a word that combines several of this name's meanings. 'IO LANI means majestic hawk (there were no Hawaiian eagles). This beautiful hawk is found only in the high forests on the Island of Hawaii.
